Business travel booking for your company, with the rules built in.
Flights, hotels, transfers and cars for your employees. Policy, approvals and reporting in the same portal.
altovo TravelDesk is a corporate travel booking tool that small and medium-sized companies, mid-market groups and public bodies use to run business and duty travel themselves. Employees search and book in one place, approvers sign off in the portal, and finance sees every trip and every cost without chasing receipts. Licence it directly from altovo, or through your travel management company.
Companies that book their own travel, and the partners that serve them.
Companies and public bodies
SMEs, mid-market groups, ministries, state-owned enterprises and NGOs that want one place to book business travel and duty travel for staff, enforce a travel policy and report on spend. No TMC required, though you can keep one.
TMCs and travel agencies
Travel management companies and agencies that give each corporate client a branded self-service portal on their own content, markups and settlement. White-label TravelDesk for TMCs.
Airlines and banks
Carriers and banks that onboard corporate accounts onto their own branded portals to keep managed travel volume in their ecosystem. TravelDesk for airlines.
The whole trip, from one search.
TravelDesk runs on the same inventory as the rest of the altovo platform, so a small company gets the same global content a large TMC would.
Airlines
650+ airlines bookable, including NDC (as of Oct 2026), through Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport and direct NDC, with low-cost carriers alongside full-service airlines.
Hotels
Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Accor, Hyatt and Wyndham alongside aggregators such as Hotelbeds, WebBeds, Expedia and Agoda, with nightly rate caps per city.
Cities with car rental
Airport transfers and car rental in 200 cities, added to the same itinerary as the flight and hotel so the trip is complete door to door.
Currencies
Price and settle in your company's currency, with 80+ payment gateways behind the portal and automated FX at your agreed rate.
Your policy, your approvers, your finance data. Not a separate system to police.
Most companies stop managing travel properly because the tool sits outside how the business already works. TravelDesk is built to slot into the process you have.
Sign in with the accounts you already have
Single sign-on with your corporate identity provider, restricted to your company's email domain. Nobody manages a second set of passwords, and leavers lose access when their company account is closed.
Travel policy enforced at search, not at expense time
Cabin class by grade, hotel caps by city, advance booking windows and preferred suppliers are applied while the employee is still searching. Out-of-policy options are flagged or hidden, so there is nothing to reject later.
Approvals that follow your org chart
Multi-step approval chains per department, travel arrangers who book for others, deputies for when an approver is away, and auto-approval for trips that are already inside policy. Approvers act from an email, not a new login.
Reporting your finance team can use
Spend by department, cost centre, traveller, route and period, with policy compliance alongside. Export to CSV or feed your BI tool or data warehouse, so travel shows up in the same reports as every other cost.
One invoice, one billing profile
Trips settle to a company billing profile and arrive as a single invoice, rather than a drawer of employee receipts. Automated confirmations and itinerary emails go to the traveller and the arranger.
Connecting finance or HR systems
If you need traveller lists, cost centres or booking data to flow to a finance, HR or expense system, tell us which one during the walkthrough. We scope the connection with you before you sign, so there are no surprises after go-live.
Built for duty travel as well as business travel.
In the Gulf, Africa and much of Asia, official travel by staff of ministries, state-owned companies, universities and NGOs is called duty travel. It comes with its own rules: entitlements by grade, pre-approval before any booking, a fixed list of permitted carriers and hotels, and an audit trail for every trip.
TravelDesk handles this with the same policy engine a commercial company uses. Entitlements become policy rules by employee grade, pre-approval becomes a mandatory approval step, the permitted list becomes preferred content, and the audit trail is the booking history and reporting you already get.
How a duty travel rule maps to TravelDesk
- Entitlement by grade Cabin class and hotel cap rules per employee grade
- Pre-approval Mandatory approval step before ticketing, with deputies
- Permitted carriers Preferred and excluded airlines and hotels in policy
- Audit Full booking history, approver and reason on every trip
- Budget holder Spend by department and cost centre, exportable
Six offices, one platform, companies on four continents.
altovo is headquartered in Dubai with offices in London, Cairo, Istanbul, Belgrade and Kuala Lumpur. Each regional page covers the content, currencies, payment methods and support you get there.
Direct licence or through your TMC. Live in weeks, not months.
Walkthrough and scope
A 30-minute session on the demo portal, configured for your routes, grades and approval chain. We agree content, currency, billing and any system connection you need.
Pricing, quoted for your company
TravelDesk is a published platform fee plus a flat per-trip fee. No percentage of your travel spend, so your cost does not rise when fares do. Pricing is quoted by sales. If you prefer to buy through a TMC, they licence the platform and set your pricing.
Connect identity, set policy, go live
Connect your identity provider, load your policy and approvers, invite travellers by domain. There is no custom build, so a company can be live in weeks. SOC 2 Type II, ISO/IEC 27001:2022, PCI-DSS Level 1 and GDPR compliance cover your vendor review.
