Business travel booking for UK and European SMEs, with the rules built in.
Flights, hotels, transfers and cars for your employees. Policy, approvals and expense-ready reporting in the same portal.
altovo TravelDesk is a business travel booking tool for small and medium-sized companies and mid-market groups in the UK, the EU, Türkiye and Southeast Europe. Employees search and book in one place, approvers sign off from an email, and finance gets one invoice and a clean export instead of a pile of receipts. GDPR compliant, run by a UK company from London. Licence it directly from altovo, or through your travel management company.

Business travel policy without a travel manager.
Most SMEs do not have a travel manager. The office manager or the finance lead owns travel on top of everything else. TravelDesk is built so that person sets the rules once and then gets on with their day.
Set the rules once
Cabin class, a hotel cap per city and an advance-booking window. That is the whole policy for most small and medium-sized companies. Enter it once and it applies while employees are still searching, so out-of-policy options are flagged or hidden before anyone books.
Approvals by email
The approver gets an email with the trip and the price and signs off from there. No new login, no app to install. Trips that are already inside policy can be auto-approved, so managers only see the exceptions.
Arrangers and deputies
An assistant or office manager can book on behalf of other employees as a travel arranger. Approvers can name a deputy for when they are away, so a trip is never stuck waiting for someone on holiday.
Nothing to police at expense time
Because the rules were applied at search and the approval happened before ticketing, there is nothing to reject later. Every trip arrives in finance already approved, already in policy and already coded to a department or cost centre.
Flights, hotels and cars across Europe and long-haul.
TravelDesk runs on the same inventory as the rest of the altovo platform. A twenty-person SME gets the same content a large TMC would, for a short hop inside Europe or a long-haul trip to a customer overseas.
Airlines
650+ airlines bookable, including NDC (as of Oct 2026), through Amadeus, Sabre, Travelport and direct NDC. Low-cost carriers sit alongside full-service airlines in the same search.
Hotels
Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Accor, Hyatt and Wyndham alongside aggregators such as Hotelbeds, WebBeds and Expedia, with nightly rate caps per city.
Cities with car rental
Airport transfers and car rental in 200 cities, added to the same itinerary as the flight and hotel so the trip is complete door to door.
Search for the whole trip
Flight, hotel, transfer and car in one itinerary, one approval and one confirmation email to the traveller and the arranger.
Pay and reconcile the way your finance team expects.
Travel is usually the messiest line in an SME's month-end. Receipts in three currencies, bookings on personal cards, nobody sure which trip belonged to which project. TravelDesk settles every trip to a company billing profile and sends one invoice.
Price and settle in your company's currency, with 50+ currencies supported and automated FX at your agreed rate. Behind the portal sit 80+ payment gateways, including Stripe, Adyen, Worldpay, Checkout.com, Barclaycard, iDEAL and Sofort, so you can pay the way your business already pays.
Reporting covers spend by department, cost centre, traveller, route and period, with policy compliance alongside. Export to CSV or feed your BI tool or data warehouse, so travel shows up in the same reports as every other cost.

GDPR, security and data residency.
Traveller data is personal data. TravelDesk is GDPR compliant and carries the certifications your IT lead or outsourced DPO will ask about, so the vendor review is short.
Certified and audited
GDPR compliant. SOC 2 Type II. ISO/IEC 27001:2022. PCI-DSS Level 1 for card data.
Data residency per jurisdiction
TravelDesk runs on AWS across multiple regions. Where your rules say personal data must stay in a region, we discuss data residency options for your jurisdiction during scoping and agree them before you sign.
Sign in with the accounts you have
Single sign-on with your corporate identity provider, restricted to your company's email domain. Nobody manages a second password, and leavers lose access when their company account is closed.
Buying TravelDesk in Europe.
Licence it directly from altovo Ltd in London, or through your TMC. Either way, an SME can be live in weeks.
Walkthrough and scope
A 30-minute session on the demo portal, configured for your routes, grades and approval chain. We agree content, currency, billing and data residency with you.
Pricing, quoted for your company
TravelDesk is a published platform fee plus a flat per-trip fee. No percentage of your travel spend, so your cost does not rise when fares do. Pricing is quoted by sales. If you prefer to buy through a TMC, they licence the platform and set your pricing.
Connect identity, set policy, go live
Connect your identity provider, load your policy and approvers, invite travellers by domain. There is no custom build, so a company can be live in weeks.
